There are eight categories at this year's awards, which are indicated below.

Primary Aimhigher Learner Award
Key Stage 3 Aimhigher Learner Award
Key Stage 4 Aimhigher Learner Award
6th Form/FE Aimhigher Learner Award

These awards recognise those individuals or groups of individuals that have had exceptionally strong personal engagement in the Aimhigher programme, and have seen significant learning outcomes as a result.

Aimhigher Associate Award

This award recognises undergraduate students in their work in providing help and support to school and college Learners, as part of the Aimhigher Associates scheme.

Aimhigher Partner Award

This award recognises schools, colleges and other learning providers which have demonstrated strong engagement with an Aimhigher Partnership in delivering an activity or programme of activities.

Outstanding Individual Contribution to Aimhigher Award

This award recognises individuals or groups of individuals that have excelled in representing the Aimhigher programme, either in their local area or further afield.

Aimhigher Activity Award

This award recognises those Aimhigher activities or programmes that demonstrate the most effective approach to widening participation
