Digital and Social Media

The way that people consume media is changing: TV, radio and press no longer have the reach that they once had, as people spend more time online in communities and networks of their own choosing.

From a communications perspective, it is important for Aimhigher practitioners to consider the opportunities – and challenges – that a shift to online media presents. In particular, attention should be paid to utilising social media channels as a means of interacting with young people.

This section of the Communications Resource Pack contains information and examples to help practitioners explore using digital and social media in particular - please choose from the links on the left.
