Carry On with Conviction, a Recipe for the Future
Colleagues
Aimhigher Essex will be holding it’s second conference on Thursday 11th November at The Weston Homes Community Stadium, home of Colchester United FC.
With the future of Aimhigher uncertain at the moment, the conference aims to:
• Inspire colleagues in schools, colleges and higher education institutions to continue with the excellent widening participation work so far achieved.
• Report on current research in schools and colleges on the successes of Aimhigher.
• Describe successful interventions and practical ways of continuing with activities with or without direct Aimhigher funding.
The day will feature keynote speakers, people who have been commissioned to research the effectiveness of Aimhigher in schools and colleges in Essex, and workshops by professionals and practitioners in the field of Widening Participation.
