Aimhigher is a national initiative funded by the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills and the Higher Education Funding Council for England. It aims to contribute to widening and increasing participation in Higher Education.
The Area of Berkshire is based on the local LSC boundary and brings together higher education institutions, further education colleges, schools and others with an interest in education and learning in Berkshire . A full list of partners is included opposite, although other partners continue to join. The project builds upon the excellent work already taking place within Berkshire , and seeks to strengthen and spread that work.
